STRYPER: US hard rockers, STRYPER - have announced Australian Tour dates for April 2010. As part of the bands' up-coming, "25th Anniversray" Tour, STRYPER will return to Australia for their 2nd tour 'down under'.

STRYPER last toured Australia in 1986, promoting their,
"To Hell With The Devil" album release, which spawned to hit singles,  'Free' and 'Honestly' as well as the dynamic title track. The band's latest product, "Murder By Pride" - was released in October 2009 with the band delivering another very good release, following up STRYPER's return 'come-back' album of 2005 titled, "Reborn" - which also delivered a good product.

Stryper will bring their 25th Anniversary Tour to Australia for the following dates:
Melbourne: Wednesday 7th April 2010, Billboard The Venue
Sydney: Thursday 8th April 2010, Metro Theatre
Brisbane: Saturday 10th April 2010, Hi Fi Brisbane
VINCE NEIL: While MOTLEY CRUE were 'off the road' - lead vocalist, VINCE NEIL has been recording his 3rd solo album,  which is set to appear in April 2010 to be titled, "Tattoos & Tequila".

Along with Neil is, bassist Dana Strum and Jeff Blando (Slaughter) and drummer Zoltan Chaney.

Vince Neil has released two 'solo' albums during his career, when outsted from MOTLEY CRUE in the early 90's -
"Exposed" ('93) and "Carved In Stone" ('95). The first solo CD contained the hit single, 'You're Invited (But Your Friend Can't Come)' - which was featured in the motion picture soundtrack - "Encino Man" starring a young Brendan Frasier (THE MUMMY).

KROKUS : Veteran re-formed Swiss rockers, KROKUS – will release their highly anticipated comeback
album titled,
"Hoodoo" in Europe on February 26th, 2010.

The new CD will contain a mixture of yesterday and tomorrow, with the track listing to be revealed soon.
According to the band it's the best elements of
'Headhunter' and 'Metal Rendevous'!

ARMORED SAINT: Los Angeles metal legends, Armored Saint have announced the tracklisting for
the band's up-coming, recently completed new studio album,
"La Raza", the band's first new album
since 2001's
"Nod to the Old School".

The new CD was recorded at Tranzformer Studios in Burbank, CA, was produced by bassist Joey Vera,
and engineered by Bryan Carlstrom and his assistant John Nuss.

RAVEN: Iconic British metalheads, RAVEN - will release a new CD/Album titled, "Walk Through Fire"
which is released on March 29, 2010 in Europe through SPV/Steamhammer records.

28 years ago RAVEN released their debut album,
"Rock Until You Drop" - at a time when Raven,
definitely influenced a lot of metal bands. The bands' first US tour had, Metallica as support!

Raven`s line up: John Gallagher (bass, vocals), Mark Gallagher (guitars) and Joe Hasselvander
(drums). In the summer the band will play on prestigious festivals like the Sweden Rock Festival,
the Hellfest in France and the Headbangers Open Air in Germany.

DREAM EVIL: Swedish metallers DREAM EVIL will release their new studio album, "In The Night",
via Century Media Records in late January in Europe and the USA. The new CD was again produced
at Sweden's Studio Fredman which is owned by DREAM EVIL axeman Fredrik Nordström.

DREAM EVIL will embark on a European tour, with a special CD-release show in Germany as well a mini-tour

ROADKILL: The Tasmanian based hard rockers, ROADKILL - have announced their new 5 piece line-up, that will return with shows in April.  ROADKILL is - Neil Steel (vocals), Zig (guitars), James Basser (guitars), Sheppo (bass) and Brendan 'Squid' Shelverton (drums). Basser and Shelverton made their debut for the band at an 'Unplugged' acoustic show on Feb 7. ROADKILL will rehearse for the next 6 weeks before returning for their debut 5 piece 'electric' gig in April.

The last 18 months have seen the band virtually 'off the road' for an extended period, due to 2 seperate car accidents, as well as their former drummer, leaving the band due to heart problems! ROADKILL will upload a new recorded version of their song,
'Ribbed For Your Pleasure' - featuring the new line-up to the bands' my space page in late March - to replace the current 2009 Demo version. ROADKILL will record throughout 2010 with a new CD expected by years end.
TREAT: Frontiers Records will release a new TREAT 'reunion' album, "Coup De Grace" in Europe March 19 and April 6th in the USA.

RATT: Los Angeles veteran re-formed hard rockers, RATT - have a audio sample of "Best Of Me",

The band's first studio CD in 10 years, "Infestation" was produced by Michael "Elvis" Baskette
(ALTER BRIDGE). The new CD is described as cross between 1984's "Out Of The Cellar" and "Invasion Of Your Privacy" (1985) — marking the first time the group had stepped outside of Los Angeles to track a new CD in 20-plus years.
TAROT: Finnish Goth metallers TAROT - have unveiled the new artwork of their forthcoming CD
which is to be titled, ”Gravity Of Light” - which is scheduled for release on April 23. 

The new CD is the successor to their last studio release in 2007, the  excellent release,
“Crows Fly Black”.

CRAZY LIXX: Frontiers Records will release the 2nd album by Swedish rockers, CRAZY LIXX - to be titled,"New Religion" on March 19th in Europe and April 6th in the USA.

Crazy Lixx, one of the most exciting bands to come out of the Sleaze-Rock movement renaissance in Sweden, together with Crashdïet, Hardcore Superstar, Babylon Bombs and Vains of Jenna. Crazy Lixx was formed in 2002 in Malmö, Sweden. The core line-up up until the first album consisted of vocalist Danny Rexon (also known as Dirtchild Danny or D.C. Danny), guitarist Vic Zino, drummer Joél Cirera and bass player Loke Rivano. The current line-up features guitarist Andy Dawson in Vic Zino's place
after the latter joined Hardcore Superstar.

Crazy Lixx released their debut,
"Loud Minority" (2007) an album that reached #2 in the national Swedish Hard Rock chart.
The new CD was recorded at Polar Studios in Stockholm, along with producer Chris Laney (Europe, Crashdïet, Candlemass).

WARRIOR: Southern California veteran metal band,  WARRIOR - have uploaded their cover of the Mk II Black Sabbath classic,
'Neon Knights' to their MySpace music players. The track comes off the 'Neon Knights - A Tribute to Black Sabbath' album, out on Reality Entertainment.

'Neon Knights' marks the band's first recording with the current line-up - which features founding members, Parramore McCarty and Joe Floyd, along with new lead guitarist AC Alexander, bassist Rob Farr, and long-time drummer Dave DuCey.

The new WARRIOR album, will be the band's fifth product and is the first to feature the return of McCarty on vocals since their 1998 release,

ACCEPT: Reformed German heavy metal 'legends' ACCEPT- will release their long awaited comeback album this spring to be titled, "Blood of the Nations".

Accept recorded the new album at Backstage Studio in Derbyshire, England with acclaimed British producer and Sabbat guitarist Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Exodus, Arch Enemy, Nevermore). "Blood Of The Nations" will mark the recording debut of the band's new lead singer, Mark Tornillo (ex-TT Quick) — and will include 14 songs. Some of the confirmed song titles are:Teutonic Terror, Pandemic, Shades Of Death, The Abyss and the title track. The album will be released in the spring of 2010 via an as-yet-undetermined record label.

The new line-up will make its live debut on May 8 at New York's Gramercy Theater. Accept 2010 is: Wolf Hoffmann: Guitar,

AXEL RUDI PELL: German legendary guitarist, AXEL RUDI PELL - will release his 13th studio album titled, "The Crest" on April 26 in Europe. "The Crest" is produced by Pell and was recorded between November 2009 and January 2010.

CREED: Florida based US reformed hard rockers, CREED - have released a Live In Concert DVD titled, "Creed Live".

LA GUNS: The Tracii Guns-led version of L.A. GUNS - has inked a deal with the Steve Vai -owned label
Favored Nations Entertainment's rock/metal division.

Favored Nations will reissue the 1999 L.A. GUNS album,
"Shrinking Violet" sometime this summer. The LP
will be completely repackaged with new artwork and five brand new, never-before-heard, live bonus tracks.

L.A. GUNS has recently been touring in two seperate lineups: one featuring Tracii Guns, while the other is
led by his former 80's bandmates, singer Phil Lewis and drummer Steve Riley.

WHITESNAKE: Frontiers Records has announced the signing of legendary rock band WHITESNAKE.

Singer David Coverdale and the rest of the group have already started composing new material that promises to deliver one of the finest chapters in WHITESNAKE's career.

The new CD will be a natural progression from their last excellent opus,
"Good To Be Bad" - which was well received and critically acclaimed by many, including Classic Rock magazine who voted it 'Album of the Year' in 2008. Coverdale said the production team for the new album will most likely be the infamous Brutal Brothers, or Los Bros Brutalos, who handled the recording of "Good To Be Bad".

MEATLOAF: The man with a voice that conquered a whole generation, back in his day - MEATLOAF will release his new studio album, "Hang Cool Teddy Bear" on April 19. The track listing is yet to be revealed, but the album comes in standard CD, Double CD, Deluxe Box Set and LP versions. The 2CD and Box Set versions add a hard cover book according to some reports.
ROCKLAHOMA: As predicted last year, the Rocklahoma Festival in Pryor, Ohio has marked its third year with a dramatic change of course. Organizers have dumped most of the melodic/hard rock acts the annual festival was building itself around and will instead push forward with a mainly modern rock line-up.

Headliner is ZZ Top and Tesla and Cinderella are also on the bill, but that's about where the melodic edge ends. Also on the bill is Godsmack, Saliva, Theory Of A Deadman, Buckcherry, Saving Abel, Chevelle, Burn Halo and more. A full run down of the event can be found at:

DOKKEN: Former guitarist George Lynch (Lynch Mob, Dokken, Souls Of We) recently interviewed on radio in the US discussed that a reformation of the original DOKKEN is on the cards for the future!

During the chat, Lynch also revealed that he has been writing songs for a new Dokken album with the band's classic 1980s lineup. Lynch Mob opened for Dokken on a tour in late 2009. According to Lynch: "
That's something that isn't gonna happen for a little while. We all have our respective commitments, meaning Jeff, Mick, Don and myself are all real busy this year. We've all made a commitment to each other to dedicate ourselves to getting back together. We've already got three songs on the table and we're gonna continue to write throughout the year and probably go in the studio late fall or early winter of this year and then have a record out toward late spring of next year, and then hit the road."
CRASH DIET: The Swedish glam rockers will release their new studio album titled,
"Generation Wild" - on April 14, with a single due out next week.
